Senior members of C2A were approached by employees of Cardiff RFC Ltd advising the Trust that the leafletting of supporters entering Cardiff Arms Park (CAP) would no longer be allowed on Health and Saftey grounds with immediate effect. We have written to the club in order to clariffy their position and we're awaiting their response.
Dear CRFC Ltd,
We will, at forthcoming games - listed below - be:
- Handing out leaflets
- Asking for signatures to a petition
- Speaking to supporters about several issues of concern to them, including but not exclusively:
- Membership of CAC and C2A
- Season ticket purchase.
- Moving the senior team from CAP.
- Volunteering for projects at CAP
- Fund raising for the junior teams (U18s Training kit @ present)
Please let us know of any areas that we should avoid (congestion problems etc.). We will forward to you further details; numbers of personnel involved, their positions around the ground, equipment used, etc., closer to the date once arrangements have been made.
Games list:
Connacht Friday 12th October From 18:00 hrs onwards.
Sale Sharks Friday 26th October From 18:00hrs onwards.
Thank you for your co-operation.
Yours truly,
C2A
C2A continues to explore other possible avenues to maintain our campaign, increase our membership and raise supporters awareness in other ways should CRFC Ltd decide to enforce this aleged ban.
