Call to Arms

Refurbishment of the First Aid Room

As part of the Taff End refurbishment project, along with the disabled toilet facility and the disabled match day room, Call to Arms refurbished the First Aid Room which was looking quite sorry for itself before we started the work.

To complete the work we had to remove the facilities inside and store in an alternative room. Ian Tabor then removed all the fittings and Ernie Jones was once again the man with the paint brush. He repainted the room from top to bottom in a bright white that made the room look so much lighter. Once Earnie had finished, I cleaned the floor down as well as the door which was painted in undercoat by Gareth Davies before being glossed over in blue and black.

The floor was then painted in heavy duty floor paint in grey with a black edge to the walls. The effect was clean and bright ready for Ian to refit the fittings, the room is now back in use and the First Aiders have a clean facility to be proud of.
